Na Bonsai is a Detroit-based sound artist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and multimedia creator exploring the intersections of music, technology, consciousness. Their work blends electronic and analog soundscapes with imrpvisation, graphic scores, and psychoacoustics to creative immersive sonic experiences. Drawing inspiration from nature and Black cultural lineages, Na bonsai crafts introspective and world-building compositions that evoke liberation, transformation, and deep listening.Their past releases include Planet Paralysis, Alkhemy, Fall With Me, Honey Monsoon albums Opal Soul and Rose Gold, and an upcoming album Obsidian Bloom. Beyond traditional music production, Na Bonsai is expanding their practice into sound art, integrating audtiory research, somatics, and bioacoustics to explore sound as a tool for healing and explanded consciousness. As they continue to push sonic boundaries, Na Bonsai is dedicated to developing innovative sound-based works that challenge perception and deepen the listener’s engagement with sound as an artistic and experiential medium.
